THE
MONASHEES ARE KNOWN for their deep powder and early snow conditions.
From the Chalet's front door, ski over 550 meters (1800 feet) of vertical and open terrain
with a typical annual snowfall of 500 centimeters.
You can plan a trip starting in mid-December. Each month has an abundance of powder. The Monashee Chalet has great skiing extended right into May, giving your group those extra
long days.
Guests include many families with young children as well
as extreme backcountry skiers that like the "steep and deep".
Guests are expected to have their personal safety equipment, a knowledge of route finding and should have avalanche awareness for the changing mountain
conditions. Please familiarize yourself with all of the safety
issues.
Please note that pets are not permitted in the area and no open flame in the Chalet.
